ARIA NETWORKS ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP WITH ITOCHU TECHNO-SOLUTIONS TO DELIVER COMBINED PLANNING SOLUTIONS FOR THE JAPANESE MARKET
Aria Networks, a leading provider of planning solutions for Next Generation Networks (NGNs) today announces a partnership with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions of Tokyo, Japan, to deliver planning and network management solutions to address the Japanese telecommunications market.
Under the partnership ITOCHU Techno-Solutions will market, distribute and support Aria’s iVNT planning and path computation software to telecommunications companies in Japan. In addition, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions has already integrated Aria’s iVNT and Intec NetCore’s PATHMANAGER products to provide a best-in-class MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switched) network design and monitoring solution.
MPLS networks are an important part of NGNs, but the planning, design and operation of these networks is complex, time-consuming, and requires highly skilled staff. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions are leveraging Aria’s iVNT to enable their customers to reduce the complexity and time it takes to deploy next-generation services, provide the required quality-of-service and service-levels, and to improve the operational efficiency of deploying and operating NGNs.
The iVNT Solution Suite enables planning and design of IP, MPLS-TE, WDM, GMPLS, Ethernet and VPNs and has the industries most advanced multi-layer traffic-engineering and path computation capabilities.
“We look forward to developing our partnership with Aria Networks and implementing next generation operational support systems that bring significant benefits to our customers,” said Tohru Nakano, Director and Executive Vice-President at ITOCHU Techno-Solutions, “our joint solutions will bring significant operational cost savings for our Japanese telecoms customers”.
“The Japanese telecoms market is an important market for Aria and ITOCHU Techno-Solutions is well positioned within the key telecommunications companies, which enables Aria to build on our existing customers in Japan,” said Tony Fallows, CEO, Aria Networks, “we are excited about working with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions as Aria can leverage their excellent sales and support infrastructure to ensure the success of iVNT in Japan”.
