ARIA NETWORKS ACQUIRES IPR RIGHTS TO DANI TECHNOLOGY
Aria Networks, a leading provider of planning solutions for NGNs today announces that it has acquired the intellectual property rights to the DANI Artificial Intelligence technology that it uses at the core of its iVNT planning software suite. Previously, Aria held world-wide, exclusive licensing rights to the DANI technology, but has now acquired all title in the DANI technology from DNNI Limited for an undisclosed sum. Aria’s acquisition of the DANI technology is a natural next-step after it announced in October 2006 that it had directly employed the R&D team that developed DANI. “We now own and control all software used in our iVNT product suite”, said Tony Fallows, Aria’s CEO, “which allows us to further strengthen our proposition to our customers and partners.”
