Aria Networks has been shortlisted for a prestigious award by the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA). Aria Networks has been nominated as the Best Early Stage Investment in a Disruptive Technology Business award at the UKBAA awards Gala Dinner on 1st July, held in Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.
The UKBAA Awards 2014 recognises the achievements of both investors and smaller businesses. An elite judging panel including entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of the finance and banking industries have chosen the shortlist for the ten awards to be presented on the night in front of an audience of investors, banks, crowd-funders and professional advisors. The guest speaker is Sir Terry Leahy, former Chief Executive of Tesco and probably Liverpool’s most famous businessman.
Aria Networks’ nomination caps a significant month for the company. Earlier in June, Aria announced the launch of its iVNT capacity planning and orchestration software for software defined data centres, extending the capability of the software beyond capacity planning and management in networks to encompass the growing demand for capacity planning and optimisation tools in data centres.
